Collectability of the Set

Collecting Pokemon cards has been a key part of the Pokémon TCG experience, and the new Mega Evolutions set does not fall short of providing chase cards. With Pokemon's lack of printing capability compared to the spiraling demand for new Pokemon cards and hits this set may set in motion a new dawn of price rises and hype in the market. The vibrant artwork, limited print run, and special illustration rare's appeal strongly to collectors.

Among the most coveted chase cards are the Mega Lucario EX and Mega Gardevoir EX which has already garnered the most hype since there reveal at Pokemon Presents. Whilst they have not yet hit the market, it can be safely assumed that these cards will demand a value of around $500 AUD and above. This is shaping to be a collectors dream, as there is strong sentiment that for the first time in the Scarlet and Violet Era modern era of 2 highly sort after chase cards valued at over $500.

Without having revealed the full card list and Special Illustration Rare's for the set this is shaping to be one of the best base sets Pokemon enthusiast have ever seen. Pokemon continues to innovate their TCG as they dawn new art designs that speak to the fans desire to see the illustrations from Pokemon Pocket game come to the trading card game. Whilst it is uncertain whether or not the Mega sets will be a standalone block or a filler block, it is certain to provide the hype needed to push through to the reveal of generation 10 and Pokemons coveted 30th Anniversary.
